Sauted Apple Rings

3 large apples peeled cored and sliced

2 tablespoons butter, melted

2 tablespoons brown sugar

3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Add apples tossing to coat. Cover and cook on low heat 10 to 15 minutes stirring occasionally

Nobby Apple Cake

3 cups diced pared apples

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 egg well beaten

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/3 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup flour

Add oil and beaten egg to diced apples. Add remaining ingredients and mix by hand so as not to mush the apples. Bake in a greased square pan at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Cool upside down or remove from pan after about 5 minutes

Suggestion you can serve the apple cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or even whip cream
