What Is The Purpose Of A Belly Button

Ok why do we have one. I know why we have one. It's from where you were attacked from the placenta. Then the placenta was attacked to your mom. It's how you survived. How you got your air and nutrition to survive. And grow into a healthy baby. Now that you are born. Now you tell me what is the purpose of it. It really just there to have someone poke it. Some people it makes them feel like they have to go to the bathroom if you do that. to them. I know someone like that. Some have innies and some have outies. Some even have to have theirs operated one when they get older. I have been told quite a few people in the U.S. call it a lint trap. So a belly button that collects lint wow that's cool I guess. I know when my kids were little and played outside in the dirt. It would collect dirt there. So I had to be careful to make sure it was clean properly. If not it could get infected. Don't worry this never happen to my kids. It was just a dirt collector to them. I just think it would be really cool that after you were born,your belly button had another purpose in life besides just a lint collector .Some people even pierce it. Which I don't see why. But I guess its there body. I know this might be a silly hub to you but I was just thinking about and thought I would write about it.
